Ato kebede Bishaw, Director of the Institute of Urban Development Studies, made a presentation on the overview of the Ethiopian Civil Service University and the institute mandates and activities. Similarly, Ato Teferra Sileshi discussed CUI's mission, vision, and activities. He also presented the practices CUI in establishing partnership with other organizations

After the presentation, the participants conducted a discussion on the common interests of the two organizations, resource, structure, opportunities and challenges of the partnership, and raised issues on the basic areas of the partnership.

Finally, the participants reached an agreement to discuss with the university top management the finance and structure of the agreement and come up with further ideas.

Conducting consultative meeting helps organizations to have a collaborative and reciprocal partnership framework. It is also an opportunity for the two organizations to discuss together about the measures that need to be taken.
