Ethiopian Civil Service University council held three days annual work plan evaluation and approved the next year annual work plan draft from 10 to 12 July 2017 at Hidasse Hall. All ECSU directors, college deans, team leaders and ECSU higher managements have participated on the evaluation.
Center for Cross-cutting Issues Training and Consultancy gave half day training for Ethiopian Civil Service University Training Facilities and Hospitality Services Coordination Directorate staff workers on 14, June 2017 at training hall. The training was mainly focused on HIV/AIDS and related issues and life skills experience.
Ethiopian Civil Service University and Ministry of Women and Children Affairs signed MOU to train female leaders in masters degrees to fill the female leadership gap in the executive branch of the government both at regional and federal level on July 7/2017 in the Ministry`s meeting hall. The agreement was signed by Her Excellency Demitu Ambissa, Minister, Ministry of Women and Children Affairs and President of Ethiopian Civil Service University, Professor Fikre Dessalegn.
Ethiopian Civil Service University Reform and Good Governance Office organized experience share visit for the first kaizen trainees of the University to personalize the experience of Hawassa University and Ethiopian Metal Engineering Corporation from July 6-11, 2017.
The visit aimed to gain experience share on the application of kaizen philosophy and emphasis on improving the service delivery and put kaizen philosophy into action at ECSU.
Ethiopian Civil Service University held the third national conference from July 3 to 4, 2017 at the main campus of the university. The conference was held under the theme “Public Sector Transformation and Development”.
Ethiopian Civil Service University colorfully graduated 1050 students with Masters and Bachelor degrees on July 1, 2017 at Kotebe campus of the university at the presence of different higher government officials, ambassadors, diplomats, federal and regional administration representatives. Among the graduates two hundred and twenty six are female graduates.
