Description

The Master of Arts in Development Management addresses critical issues such as institutional reform, poverty eradication, gender equality, resource management, and environmental protection. In Africa, particularly Ethiopia, where about 23% live below the poverty line, this program equips students to tackle complex development challenges and contribute to poverty alleviation efforts. The curriculum includes modules on Management Theories, Development Practices, Finance in Development, Rural-Urban Development, and Project Management. As Ethiopia integrates into the global economy, understanding these complexities is vital for effective governance and development.

Prerequisites & Requirements

elevant undergraduate degree from recognized Ethiopian institutions.
• Bachelor’s in Development Management, Rural/Urban Development, Natural Resource Management, Business Management, Public Management, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
• A Master’s degree in a related field is also acceptable.
• Minimum CGPA of 2.0.
• At least two years of public service experience post-degree.
• Passing score on the entrance exam.
• Fulfillment of all academic and non-academic requirements as per ECSU senate legislation
