Description

The Master of Arts in Public Management program addresses the growing need for competent public servants in Ethiopia, who can effectively support the country's development initiatives at all levels of government. As the public sector becomes increasingly complex, there is a pressing demand for professionals equipped with advanced knowledge, skills, and attitudes. This program aims to fill the existing capacity gap by producing public managers who can adeptly implement government development policies. Students will gain foundational concepts, theories, and tools necessary for analytical thinking, sound judgment, innovation, leadership, and essential managerial skills to serve the public effectively.

• Prepare graduates to lead the public sector towards achieving long-term national development goals.

Prerequisites & Requirements

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

  1. Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Development Management, Public Management, Development Studies, Management, Public Administration, Marketing Management, Community Development, Educational Planning & Management, Rural Development Management, Political Science, Human Resource Management, Public Policy, Leadership, or Governance from accredited institutions.
  2. Follow the application procedures established by the University’s Admission Office.
