The Vice President for Education Programmes shall be accountable to the President of the University and shall have the following responsibilities:
1.Advise, assist and support the president in the exercise of his responsibilities;
2.Design ways and means of promoting the relevance and quality of the education Programme and activities of the University and supervise same;
3.Encourage and support members of the academic staff to develop their profession and to demonstrate excellence;
4.Ensure the existence of a congenial learning environment for academic staff and learners;
5.Approve the employment of Teaching personnel;
6.Coordinate and direct the teaching learning, matters of the University;
7.Prepare and submit plans and performance reports to the President and follow up implementation of the plans;
8.Exercise the responsibilities the president may entrust to him.
