Training Topic: Land Administration Law
Objectives of the training: At the end of the training program participants will:
- get familiar with the concepts of land, land management and land administration;
- clarify features of land tenure;
- acquire knowledge regarding land reform;
- understand interrelation among land policies, legislation and implementing institutions; and
- Appreciate possible options of land policy.
Contents of the training: Basic Concepts of Land, Land Tenure, Land Reform, Land Policy, Possible Options of Land Policy
Duration: 5 days
Target Audience: Participants of the training are top, middle and lower level leaders and professionals of federal and regional public sector organizations, and also members of House of Peoples Representatives (HPRs).
Mode of delivery: The training will be interactive based on group work, exercises, case studies related to organizational and self-experiences of trainees. In each case, effort is made to relate the concept to the Ethiopian situation and challenges of land administration on the ground.
