Overview of the Ethiopian Development Learning Center (DLC)
The Ethiopian Development Learning Center (EDLC) is an organ of the ECSU, organized as a competences center for the technology-supported learning and teaching, ICT and knowledge management for the public sector in Ethiopia. It has played crucial roles in building capacities for achieving the nation’s developmental goals since its establishment of 2000 as an ICT-based public sector capacity building program.
The EDLC is hence an access for the latest knowledge and experiences in the need for building capacity by connecting decision-makers, practitioners and end-users through the DLC Knowledge and facility services with a 40MB Broadband transmissions capability for data and video conferencing in which images and words are captured in a real time.
