The Ethiopian Civil Service University and Ethiopian Revenue and Customs Authority jointly organized the 1st workshop on "Challenges and Solutions of Tax Administration". The workshop was held on January 7, 2011 at the Ethiopian Civil Service University main campus.

Ethiopian Civil Service University Development Learning Center hosts the 8th offering of the Micro finance Training of the Trainers ( MFTOT ) under the title "Money Management Services for the Poor" on January 11,2012.The participants of the conference are from GDLN sites in Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Japan, Mongolia, Nepal, Sri Lananka, Tanzania, and Uganda.

Thirty three male and two female participants drawn from different microfinance institutions in Ethiopia attended the training. Five of the participants are from Ethiopian Civil Service University.
