Ethiopian Civil Service University Institutes of Urban Development Studies launched internship program for 2016/17 academic year on October 28, 2016 at Hidase Hall.
State Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), H. E. AtoYonas Yosef and President of Ethiopian Civil Service University, H.E. Professor Fekadu Beyene discussed on October 28,2016 ways to improve the quality of foreign service training program which is hosted by the Ethiopian Civil Service University. The discussion, which was held in the University`s Senate Hall, mainly focused on how to improve the training program to make it fit for the purpose of producing competent diplomats.
Ethiopian Civil Service University awarded a full Professorship to Dr. Samson Kasahun for his great contribution for his country and outstanding achievements in the academic area on October 18, 2016.
Dr. Samson Kasahun received the title after his works have been evaluated by different examining bodies. By the recommendation of ECSU senate; the university’s board endorsed the recommendation and awarded Dr. Samson a full professor title.
A memorandum of understanding has been signed by Dr. Mulugeta Debebe, ECSU Vice-president for Training and Consultancy and Selamawit Kiros, University’s Kaizen Transfer and Development Directorate Director of Kaizen Institute on October 24, 2016.
At the signing of the MOU, Dr Mulugeta Debebe expressed his appreciation to Kaizen Institution leader for promoting Kaizen philosophy to solve different problems faced at different governmental and private institutions.
Ethiopian Civil Service University Center for Cross-Cutting Issues Training and Consultancy organized a half day orientation program for new female students on October 24, 2016 at ECSU training room. The training was organized for students drawn from emerging regions.
