HAMU Offers a Training

Ethiopian Civil Service University HIV/AIDS Management Unit offered a day long training to 42 students drawn from Masters and Undergraduate programs of IUDS, UMMP, ITCA and IPMDS on June 16 2011.The Role of Students in Response to HIV and AIDS in the Public Sector was the main theme of the training.

Training on Quality Assurance Given

The Ethiopian Civil Service University Institutional Planning and Assessment Office organized a two half days training on Quality assurance on November 11 and 12, 2010. The University President, Vice President for Academic Development , Institute Directors, Specialized team leaders, Department Heads, and Administrative Support Team Leaders attended the training.

DLC Continues Efforts to Lure Clients

World Food Program has conducted a day long video conference at the Ethiopian Civil Service University Development Learning Center on December 9,2010.The conference aimed at discussing on various Human Resource issues with officials in the Head quarter at Rome, Italy .Forty participants who are drawn from the Southern, Eastern and Central Africa branch offices of the World Food Program attended the conference. Human Resource , Legal and Information Technology experts were among the list of participants in the conference.

The Second Round Senior Leadership Development Program Training Given

The second round senior Leadership Development Program training was given to 10 Ethiopian Civil Service University and 12 Ethiopian Management Institute Senior Leaders by United Kingdom National School of Government Consultants. The training was held at ECSU Lecture hall from 6-10 December, 2010.

The training aimed at building internal leadership and management capacity of senior managers at EMI and ECSU so that they lead strategically, plan and implement change, and lead development of effective leadership and management training.

CTC Offered Trainings

Center for Training and Consultancy gave training on Balanced Score Card for about 14 male and 2 female Experts of Education and Training Quality Assurance Agency. The training was held at the University from December 6-14, 2010.

After the training the participants will enhance their understanding of the concept of balanced score card, acquire knowledge and skills in building BSC through the nine steps so that they can build their organizations BSC.
