Ethiopian Civil Service FM 100.5 Community Radio Station held 2nd General Assembly on January 14, 2016 at Abay Hall of the university.
University communities, stake holders from the two sub cities –Yeka and Bole, Federal Government officials and invited guests participated in the assembly.
School of Diplomacy and International Relations Conducted a public Lecture titled Ethiopia`s Foreign Policy and National Security on December 28, 2015 at the University`s main campus lecture theatre. The Guset speaker was Ambassador Abdulaziz Ahmed Adem, senior researcher at Public Research and Analysis Department African Divission, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
ECSU community celebrated World AIDS Day and White Ribbon Day on December 9, 2015 colorfully by different activities at Hidase Hall. Educational and entertaining programs were presented in the ceremony and more than 250 guests (staff, teachers and students) attended the program.
Ethiopian Civil Service University and Institute of Advanced Research signed MoU on December 7, 2015 at ECSU to leverage the existing relationship between the two institutions.
Under the new MOU the two institutions will explore further areas of research collaboration and knowledge exchange, and work jointly to maximize capacity development efforts in the field of diplomacy, development, governance and the rules of law and regional integration as well as Peace and security.
Sudanese Government delegation visited Ethiopian Civil Service University on November 26, 2015 to get experiences and engage in dialogue with the University`s officials on ways to strengthen the two countries relation in education, social and economic affairs.
The delegation includes high-ranking representatives (state ministers, expertise, and Officers) from various states of the Sudan. The delegation is led by H.E. Bashier Hammed Ibrahim, Minister, Ministry of culture, youth and sports.
