Disability Affairs Unit (DAU) Facilitates an Event

Center for Cross Cutting Issues Training and Consultancy, Disability Affairs Unit (DAU) facilitated a half day program for thirty three students of ECSU on April 17, 2016. The event consists of training, discussion and practical Session.

The students were diverse in terms of their sex, year of entry and program and most importantly in their physical disability status. The program held with objective of providing opportunity for students to socialize and work in collaboration towards making ECSU conducive for students with disability.

Ecsu Fm 100.5 Community Radio Station Inaugurates Regular Program

ECSU Community Radio FM 100.5 started its regular five hours a day program beginning April 11, 2016.At the opening of the inauguration of the regular program president of the university, Professor Fekadu Beyene said that the station will play a significant role in creating awareness to the listeners on problem of service delivery, good governance and it contributes to the development of the country, besides entertaining the listener.

Newly appointed ECSU president introduced to the Expatriate Staff of the university

ECSU  International Relations Office organized introduction program for Expatriate Staff with the newly appointed president of Ethiopian Civil Service University. At the opening speech Prof Fekadu Beyene, ECSU president said that the university values the Expatriate Staff and recognize their importance .Our goal is to move forward and build the capacity of civil service of our country. You are kindly request to continue your commitment by helping students, guiding and supporting young local staff. And you are expected to contribute a lot in the developments of our future leaders.

Ethiopian Civil Service University Quality Assurance Office in collaboration with Center for Academic and Professional Development conducted a one-day awareness raising training to administrative and academic support leaders on March 21, 2016. Directors and Team leaders of administrative and academic support divisions attended the training.

Ethiopian Civil service University Center for Research in Ethics and Integrity held its second seminar on "Ethics in Thought and Deeds: Toleration as a Personal and Public Virtue" on March 24/2016 at Hidasse hall. Academics, post graduate students and PhD candidates attended the seminar.
