2005 candidates announcement

Ethiopian Civil Service University has announced list of candidates to be admitted for the first semester of the 2012/13 G.C.(2005E.C) Academic Calendar. The list of admitted candidates is sent to all regional Civil Service Bureaus and other concerned Institutions. The list includes all admitted Second (Masters) Degree candidates and First (Bachelors) Degree regular program candidates in the area of Urban Planning, Urban Engineering, Urban Land Management and Information system, and Surveying and Mapping.

ECSU Community Marks the 5th National Flag Day

The 5th National Flag Day was celebrated in Ethiopian Civil Service University in the presence of the top management, academic and administrative staff and students of the University under the theme ''lifting our flag up, we will realize the renaissance devised by prime Minister Meles'' on October 29,2012.

The ceremony was accompanied by flag hoisting ceremony and a pledge by the University community to further strengthen the legacy of the great leader late Prime Minister Meles Zenawi development endeavors to realize the renaissance of Ethiopia.

ECSU and Addis Ababa University are executing a project in Collaboration with Karl-Franzens University of Graz /Austria

Ethiopian Civil Service University Institute of Federalism and Legal Studies and the Addis Ababa University Center for Human Rights have been established academic partnership on Legal and Human Rights Education with the University of Graz- Institute of International Law and International Relations in Austria.

ECSU's Effort to Enhance the Participation of Female Staff said Significant

The Ethiopian Civil Service University has given a half day induction training for about 50 female leaders, teachers, and consultants drawn from different institutes and sections of the University on September, 20/2012.

The aim of the training was to introduce the female academic staff members the vision, mission, policies and the objective of the University and make them familiar to the University working culture and overall environment. The occasion also helps to pay attention to the issues that may possibly mention from the female staff members.

Ethiopian Civil Service Community Grieving on the Death of Meles

Ethiopian Civil Service Community has expressed their deep sorrow over the untimely death of Prime Minister Meles Zenawi in the interment ceremony organized at the University Premise.

Honorable Dr. Haile-Michael Abera, President of the University, on the occasion said,

" Prime Minister Meles was architect of the federal system that granted constitutional protection to the human and democratic rights of the people, and ensured the equality of nation, nationalities, sex, religion and freedom of worship. "
