Training Topic: Ethiopian Property Law (Emphasis on Immovable Property)
Objectives of the training: At the end of the training program participants will:
- read documents of different types and comprehend;
- use the present and past tenses in their spoken and written languages effectively;
- use the active and passive voice appropriately in their sentences; and
- Produce meaningful paragraphs.
Contents of the training: Patrimony, Property and Property Law, Possession, Ownership, Joint Ownership, Usufruct, Servitude, Mortgage Law
Duration: 5 days
Target Audience: Participants of the training are top, middle and lower level leaders and professionals of federal and regional public sector organizations, and also members of House of Peoples Representatives (HPRs).
Mode of delivery: The training will be interactive based on group work, exercises, case studies related to organizational and self-experiences of trainees. In each case, effort is made to relate the concept to the Ethiopian situation and challenges of property law on the ground.
