  • Ph.D. Degree (related to the area of specialization), or
  • Masters Degree (related to the area of specialization) and:
    • four years of effective teaching in a university as lecturer in the area of specialization, and

one article published solo in reputable academic journal or one teaching material prepared solo for specific course which was assessed positively by internal and external assessors.

Lecturer

  • A Masters’ or doctorate degree in Development Studies or Political Science or Economics or Public Administration/ Management and/or Information Management, Project Management (or related field) is prerequisites,
  • Expertise and research and publications in any of the disciplines above are prerequisites,
  • Training in pedagogical science, curriculum development and education technology is an advantage.

Work Experience:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in teaching, research or project management
  • Work experience in and/or knowledge of the East African region;
  • Experience in working in multicultural and multidisciplinary settings;
  • Familiarity and/or interest in E-Learning, developing teaching materials, and online tutorial
  • Sound knowledge of Information Management Systems
