In its endeavor to foster students` awareness on socio -economic condition of the country, the Ethiopian Civil Service University, Institute of Leadership and Good Governance organized a public speech entitled "Development Plan and Economic Development: the Case of GTP in Ethiopia " on Friday, 27 December ,2013 at ECSU`s Renaissance Hall. The speech was delivered by His Excellency Dr. Abraham Tekeste, State Minister for Ministry of Finance and Economic Development.

Opening the training, President of ECSU, Dr. Hailemichael Abera said that ECSU is in the process of modularizing its curriculum like all universities across the country.
The workshop was opened by the ECSU President Dr. Hailemicheal Abera. After underlining the importance of the workshop Dr. Hailemicheal said
HIV and AIDS Management Unit of ECSU gave training for Estate and General Service Department workers on April 23, 2013. Training was held for half day and the theme of the training was providing comprehensive knowledge on the basics of HIV/AIDS. The total number of trainees in this training was forty. Among the participants of the training, three of them were male and the rest 37 were females.
