Former Graduates of Institute of Leadership and Good Governance, Ethiopian Civil Service University, established an Alumni Association on April 24, 2014. At the inaugural Alumni Association Workshop a video documentary, papers on success and challenges in establishing network among the graduates and the Practice of ILG Graduates Placement were presented by members of Alumni Organizing Committee.
In his key note speech Adamu Ayana, State Minister for Ministry of Civil Service said

Human Resource and Development Affairs Standing Committee of House of Peoples` Representatives oversaw the activities of Ethiopian Civil Service University on March 30, 2014. The overseeing programme included hearing the six month performance report, discussion with academic and administrative staff, visiting facilities of the University and infrastructure development activities.
