CAPD Prepares Training
ECSU`s Academic and Professional Development gave training for around 65 employees from Training, Hospitality and Accommodation services and Student Catering Services of the university in the collaboration with Ethiopian Hotel and Tourism Management Institutes. The Training was given at ECSU.
Ato Fiseha Zelalem, team leader at Center for Academic and Professional Development said that the objective of the training is to fill the gap in food Preparation, Food Handling and Food Safety and Sanitation Practices. This is our first training in 2008 Ethiopian calendar as per our plan, this fiscal year every employee can get training once on different issues in their respective fields, said Ato Fiseha. The training incorporates both theoretical and practical aspects.
According to Ato Fiseha, the training is prepared based on need assessment of the office. The training held from September 15-18, 2015.
CAPD is a Centre established to facilitate internal capacity building activities of the University.
