CCIT Gives Training
Ethiopian Civil Service University Centre for Cross - Cutting Issues Training and Consultancy gave one day training on Research Data Analysis for 2009 E.C academic year prospective female graduating students on May 12, 2017 at Hidasse Hall.On the training more than seventy fife female prospective graduating students participated.
On the program Dr. Kassa Teshager , Researcher and Deputy Director for Research and Community Service for College of Finance, Management and Development ,voluntarily gave the training. Dr. Kassa Teshager explained the techniques and types of data analyzing methods and how to apply an appropriate data analyzing methods in a research. He also gave a detailed explanation on data interpretation systems and the problem they may face while they are doing research analysis. The trainee on their part raised different questions regarding research data analysis and further explanation was given by Dr. Kassa Teshager.
He also expressed his readiness to help the trainees individually or in groups when they need his assistance and encouraged them actively involved in every aspect and empower themselves. “Even after graduation, you must continue doing research in your future time. We need female researchers who play their role in the community” he advised the trainees.
W/ro Abay Akmachew Director for Centre for Cross- Cutting Issue Training and Consultancy thanked Dr. Kassa Teshager for his devotion to share his knowledge and his rich experiences to the trainees. She also expressed her hope that the participants will apply what they gained from the training.
The Center is working on different issues to alleviate the problem that female students may face during their stay at the university and tries to increase the number of female students’ graduation rate. For this, it organizes consecutive training program on selected topics to develop their skill in addition to the courses they learned in the normal class learning time.
