CUDE Celebrates Its Success
Department of Urban Engineering and Surveying under the College of Urban Development and Engineering organized congratulations program to celebrate their achievement at which they stood second in quality education competition held in 2016/ 17 academic year on February 1, 2018 at Kotebe Campus.
In the program Professor Fikre Dessalegn, President of ECSU, congratulated the CUDE community for their success and said that such kinds of competition among schools and departments create good spiritual competition for better performances in all the university community. He also requested the staff to work hard by exercising their academic freedom correctly and discharge their responsibility properly.
Dr. Daniel Lirebo, Dean of College of Urban Development and Engineering, on his part said the success of the College shows the success of the university at large. “CUDE Academic staff and Administration support staff members are playing their roles to meet the vision of our university. The achievement registered by the Department of Urban Engineering and Surveying can be taken as the success of all staff of the college. To achieve our goals :to be center of excellence -we discharge our responsibility and organize ourselves in a better manner .Besides we must work hand in hand by building team work spirit”, he added.
In connection with the program, CUDE community visited Mekedonia Center, which supports elderly and mentally disabled people and donated money for the center.
