ECSU and Ethics and Anti- Corruption Commission sign MOU
Ethiopian Civil Service University and the Federal Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission signed MoU to prepare seven training modules and guideline for trainers on 30 October 2017. The training materials will be produced by ECSU Center for Policy, Leadership and Human Resource Training and Consultancy.
According to Ato Abebe Tegene, Director for Policy Leadership and Human Resource Training and Consultancy, the main objective of the agreement focuses on enhancing the awareness creation endeavor by giving practice based trainings and helps to make the commission effort effective in combating corruption in the country. It also increases the bilateral cooperation partnership between the two institutions.
The preparation of training materials will be finalized within ninety three days. It is learnt that the MOU was signed by Professor Fikre Dessalegn, Ethiopian Civil Service University president and higher official of Federal Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission and costs about 1.6 million birr. The thematic areas of the training modules focus on Rent Seeking and Corruption, Money Laundering, Conflict of Interest, Investigation of Crimes committed on Finance and Economy, Anti Corruption Regulations and other related issues.
