ECSU Community Radio Station Celebrates its second year anniversary
Ethiopian Civil Service Fm 100.5 Community Radio Station celebrated its second year anniversary on May 2, 2018 on Abay Hall of the university. ECSU community along with invited stakeholders From Government Communication Office and Public Service and Human Resource Development Ministry attended the events.
ECSU president professor Fikre Dessalegn through his representative Professor Samson Kassahun Academic Affairs Vice president of ECSU said governments gave special mission for our university to build the capacity of the public servants through education, training and research and community service. Besides, the university will give special attention to the nearby Sub Cities to give community service by identifying their problems and serve the community.
On the program, Assistant Professor Tesfaye Teshome, Community Service Directorate Director, presented the overall activities that were registered by giving community service to the nearby sub cities (Yeka and Bole).
Finally the university community has participated on different community service activities including blood donation and planted seedlings in different site of the university.
The ECSU Community Radio FM 100.5 Station started its regular five hours a day program beginning April 11, 2016.Now the station broadcast its programs 8 hours a day.
