ECSU Council Evaluates the Nine Month Work Plan Performance
Ethiopian Civil Service University Council held two days nine month work plan performance evaluation from 12 to 13 April 2018 at Hidasse Hall. The Top Management, Directors of Colleges, Academic and Administrative Supports Team Leaders have participated on the evaluation.
On the opening of the evaluation program Professor Fikre Dessalegn, Ethiopian Civil Service University president, said the university council has evaluated the first and second quarter work performance of the university and set directions for better performance. In this nine month evaluation program the council evaluates the overall nine month work performance of each wing based on their plans and the key elements such as the issues of good governance, accountability and transparency, works done to fight rent seeking attitudes, proper utilization of both financial and human resource and other related issues Professor Fikre added. He finally requested the Council members to participate actively on the evaluation process.
On the two days evaluation, Academic wing, Administrative wing, Research and Community Service, Training and Consultancy wing and President’s Office Directorates presented their respective wings, Centers and offices nine month work plan performance reports. The house raised different questions and held extensive discussion on the reports presented by each office, academic and administration wings.
Finally the council has set directions for a better performance to pave the way for full accomplishment of the university’s annual plan.
