ECSU Evaluates the Nine Month work Plan performance
Ethiopian Civil Service University Academic Council held two days nine month work plan evaluation from 10 to 11 April 2017 at Hidase Hall. The top management, directors of colleges, academic and administrative supports team leaders have participated on the evaluation.
On the opining of the evaluation program Professor Fikre Dessalegn, Ethiopian Civil Service University president, said the university academic council meet and evaluate the overall work performance of the university in each quarter of the year. In this evaluation we evaluate the nine month work performance of each wings and directorates. It is expected of each and every member of the council to fully and actively participate in the evaluation process professor Fikre noted. The previous deep renewal forum which was held two month ago helped us to identify our problems and see the general status of our university. This by itself paved the way for us to properly examine ourselves and design our future work plan professor Fikre said. Based on the findings of the deep renewal forum, consecutive correction measures have been taken at different level. By this it can be said that our reformation process is doing on the right track, professor Fikre added.
On the two days evaluation, Reform and Good Governance Coordination Office, University Academic wing, Administrative wing, Research and Community Service, Training and Consultancy wings and president’s office presented their respective offices, directorates , Centers and Colleges nine month work plan evaluation. The house raised different questions and held extensive discussion on the reports presented by each office and directorate and academic and administration wings.
