ECSU Graduates Students
Ethiopian Civil Service University graduated 240 students with a bachelor degree on March 9, 2019 at Sarem International Hotel. The graduates attended their education in the field of Development Management at College of Public Financial Management in a program organized in collaboration with Addis Ababa City Administration and Ethiopian Civil Service University.
Dr. Lemma Gudissa ECSU academic vice president congratulated the graduates and said that ECSU has contributed immensely in developing the capacity of the Ethiopian civil service through its Specialized Education, Training and Consultancy as well as Research and Community Services. In its twenty three years journey ECSU contributed to the Human Capital Development of the country with its more than thirty thousand five hundred alumni. It is also currently providing education for about seven thousand students and has become more preferable educational institution by the public at large. The demand from the community to join ECSU has been increasing from time to time and it has been working its level best to meet the demand of the community, Dr. Lemma Gudissa noted.
To support the national reform program, ECSU has prepared one hundred days work plan and start its journey by reforming and rebranding its academic, training and consultancy and research activities to make them more effective than ever, Dr. Lemma Gudissa added. He also expressed his firm hope that the graduates will serve the country with the knowledge and skills they acquired during their stay at the university and discharge their responsibilities with a great commitment.
On the graduation ceremony, the graduates pledged to serve the public and strongly support the development endeavor of the country by being honest, free from corruption and mal practices.
