ECSU Registrar and Alumni Directorate give orientation
Ethiopian Civil Service University Registrar and Alumni Directorate organized orientation program to new students who joined the university in 2011 E.C academic year on October 16, 2018 at Abay Hall.
On the program Professor Fikre Dessalegne, Ethiopian Civil Service University president, welcomed the students and briefed why the orientation is important for new students in each academic year .He also said that the orientation is very important for the new comers specially to introduce the university upper leaders, the rules and regulations of the university and what expect from the students while you stay at the university.
The university has its own unique future and helped you to develop your potential .Since its establishment the university has 24 years of experience on building the capacity of the public sector and played its role by building the capacity of the civil servants through teaching, training, research and consultancy services Professor Fikre added.
He also wished successful learning time in their stay at ECSU and advised the students to manage their time properly and expressed his office readiness to support them in all aspects in their educational journey .The university has created conducive environment for you and use the university facilities properly and create good relation among yourself and the university community he added.
Dr. Abdu Mohammed, Director for ECSU Registrar and Alumni Directorate, said his office has done a lot to meet students’ needs and provide total satisfaction to all of them. So students will follow strictly the university’s rules and regulations and ask at any time their right through their representatives.
The university’s different directorates: Library and Documentation Directorate, Information Technology Directorate, Students’ Service Directorate, Guidance and Counseling Directorate and Ethics and Anti-Corruption Directorate have briefed the rules and regulations of their respective directorates and requested the students to respect the general rules of the university.
