ECSU signs Construction Contract Agreement
Ethiopian Civil Service University signed construction contract agreement for Woliso campus extension building on July 6, 2017 at ECSU Senate Hall.
The project agreement is signed with four contractors; LOZA Construction PLC, MAM General Contractors, United Construction, and DATA construction. The project costs about one hundred and ninety fife million birr. By these contract agreements student dormitories, assembly hall, library, administration block, staff residence, compound road, parking work, electrical and sanitary works, outdoor games and lounge will be constructed. The construction is expected to be completed within four hundred and twenty days.
According to Ato Alemu Sisay, Project Coordination Directorate Director, the Woliso campus is believed to alleviate the pressure on the main campus and it is expected to handle the demand for short term training coming from the western and southern part of the country
In a recent development, the construction sites at the Woliso campus have been handed over to the four contractors on July 14, 2017. The contractors are expected to start construction in few days.
