ECSU Welcomes Female Students
ECSU cross - cutting issues office organized a welcoming ceremony to all female students who are registered for the academic year 2015/16 on October 28, 2015 at students lounge, in the main campus of the University.
Dr Mulugeta Debebe Vice President for Training and Consultancy in the occasion welcomes all the students. He said female students must be empowered; we want to see females to be higher officials. In FDRE parliament the number of female representatives increased from time to time. So everything is possible if we deal with challenges that we face every day. I wish you success in your study while staying in the university.
" Welcome to ECSU all new female students in this academic year. You come here with precious objectives .To achieve your objectives, you must resist the challenges .You have to develop a culture of collaboration while staying in the university. We are here to help you; we have no important job other than supporting you. But you must be wise to use the service we offer you .Organize yourself in 1-5 groups and help each other, " Said w/ro Abay Akemachew, Director of ECSU Cross-Cutting Issues Office.
Students’ representative Ato Dargo Hafti said to develop your potential there are a lot of facilities that support you - even in every dormitory there is a Wi-Fi service, so use every recourses and opportunities. Our University gives special care for female students and that is why it is rewarded internationally.
Female students’ representatives Miss Meaza Tesfaye welcome the students and explained the benefits of working with clubs. She added, if we help each other, every problems will be solved.
Mis Aynalem Wajra and Kulule Negawa the 3rd and 4th year’s Developmental Management students expressed their happiness. We have got a lot of help from the staff. As senior student we share our experience to you on how you study and solve different problems, she added.
At the closing of the program accreditation is given to female students who scored the highest marks in the university in 2014/15 academic year.
