Ethiopian Public Service University Holds Welcoming Ceremony for New Entrants
The Ethiopian Public Service University (EPSU), in line with its newly restructured mission, held a grand welcoming ceremony on October 16 and 17, 2025, for new students assigned by the Ministry of Education.
During the ceremony, the University’s President, Dr. Nigus Tadese, addressed the students and their parents, saying:“As you have entrusted us with your children, we will care for them like a mother or father, guiding them through to the completion of their education. Thank you for choosing us.”
Previously, under its first mandate, the University primarily accepted and trained civil servants already in service, with the aim of enhancing their professional skills and capabilities. For more than 30 years, it operated with this focus.

These students, selected by the Ministry of Education, are being trained to become competent professionals who will serve the nation effectively.
During the welcoming ceremony, various high-level university officials including , as well as other administrative and academic leaders were also in attendance.
