Five ECSU`s PhD Candidates Successfully Defended Their Dissertation!
"I have been in this field for long time. I saw many nationalities; I can assure you that you can present yourself as proud Ethiopian at any stage in any manner in a scientific conferences. " Professor Melese Asfaw, Director of School of Graduate Studies said this in a PhD dissertation defense program held on Friday, June 28, 2014 where five PhD candidates successfully defended their dissertation.
The candidates in the occasion have presented the main arguments of their dissertation, followed by a question and discussion session.
Dr. Hailemichael Abera, President of Ethiopian Civil Service University said in the defense program that the event is a big land mark in the development of the University. Dr. Hailemichael added , " It was only three and half years ago that we started the program. I am delighted we have reached to this stage with in a short period of time. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. " He also extends his appreciation to the PhD students, all members of faculty in the University, administrative and support departments, other universities in various programs, the governing board of the University, the Federal Government of Ethiopia, and state governments for their supports.
