Gender and HIV/AIDS Affairs Directorate gives Training
Ethiopian Civil Service University Gender and HIV/ AIDS Affairs Directorate organized half day training for Training Facilities and Hospitality Services Coordination Directorate staff workers on 05, September 2017 at Hidasse Hall. The training was mainly focused on HIV/AIDS and related issues and life skills experience.
W/ro Abay Akemachew Director for Gender and HIV/ AIDS Affairs Directorate on the training said the training was organized to create awareness and enable the trainees to enhance their level of knowledge about HIV/AIDS and life skills experiences. “From this training the trainees are expected to gain valuable ideas on issues like self awareness, effective communication, problem solving, critical thinking, interpersonal relationship, decision making and other issues. It also helps them to set their own future plan and lead their life in an appropriate manner” W/ro Abay noted.
The training was presented with explanations and group discussion methods to create good opportunities for the trainees to share their knowledge and life skill experiences among themselves.
The training was given by W/ro Abay Akemachew and about forty trainees recruited from Training Facilities and Hospitality services Coordination Directorate were participated.
Gender and HIV/AIDS Affairs Directorate has been giving consecutive trainings on HIV/AIDS, gender and other related issues and working to minimize HIV/ AIDS prevalence focusing on both ECSU staff members and students.
