HAMU Provides Short term Training to 370 Ministry of Urban development and Construction civil servants
HAMU provided sensitization training to Ministry of Urban development and Construction civil servants on how to mainstream HIV/AIDS interventions on their daily work On April 19, 2013. The one hour sensitization training was offered to 370 civil servants of Ministry of Urban development and construction. Among these participants, eighty two of them women and two hundred eighty eight were men. The training was believed to sensitize the civil servants of the ministry on the risk of the epidemic as the construction sector was identified as one of the most at risk populations on HIV/AIDS. Representatives of the participants said
" they found the training very beneficial for being an add on to their knowledge on HIV/AIDS, for mainstreaming as well as for further partnership. "
