RCSVPO Prepared an induction program for new staff
ECSU Research and Community Service Vice President Office Prepared an induction program for new staff on September 7, 2015 at Senate Hall of the University. Also present were the President and Educational affairs, Administration and Development and Training and consultancy vice presidents and other members of the section.
At the opening of the program, Dr. Hailemichael Aberra President of the University said that it is a program which can helps us know each other very well and know the University’s mission and vision. When we join this university as a new employee, we must know the vision and mission of the University and the country as a hole. It guides what we work in the future to contribute for the sustainable development of our country. Carefully organized and controlled research will help us to get out of poverty. In-depth investigation enables us to find out our problems which in turn help us to give the right remedies for the problems. Taking that in account, the government has been exhaustively working for betterment of all sectors, he added.
Ato Birhanu Belayneh, vice president of ECSU Research and Community Services said: “we are expected to do a lot of research which can alleviate rent seeking and corruption. Our researches must be aligned with government policies and strategies .While carrying out researches, our findings should emphasize on what is important to the society.”
In the occasion employees introduced each other and shared ideas. The president of the University has given directions on how they should behave while they are doing their jobs.
