Top and Middle Managers Holds Asset Registration
Ethiopian Civil Service University Top and Middle Managers held asset registration program on 20 February 2020 at Hidasse Hall.
Asset Registration Team Leader from Ethics and Anti- Corruption Commission gave a detailed explanation on the registration process and its purposes. According to him, to enhance transparency and accountability conducting of public affairs asset registration is vital. Asset registration is done based on the Asset Registration Proclamation. Reporting inaccurate information on assets could impact for any decisions, so it’s important to understand the value of asset register has in an organization and the ideas of asset registration and apply it with great commitment he added.
Aside from that, he has also said it is important to apply asset registration principle at country level. It protects public assets from different kinds of embezzlement and closes the door of corruption and enhances good governance.
The program was organized by Ethics and Anti-Corruption Directorate of Ethiopian Civil Service University and all top and middle managers of the University participated.
