Puntland President visits Ethiopian Civil Service University
Prof. Abdulahi Mohamed Ali President of Puntland paid a short visit to Ethiopian Civil Service University on October 21, 2016. Prof. Abdulahi discussed with the University president on bilateral issues. President of the Ethiopian Civil Service University, Professor Fekadu Beyene, expressed his happiness to welcome the president. He in the occasion said the University has work relations with the Puntland government and reiterate to continue the relation. We value collaboration we establish with you and others in the region and we commit ourselves to bolster our relation, said Professor Fekadu.
Ato Seifu Bekuretsion, Director for the Office of International Relations gave a brief presentation on the University`s vision, mission, and establishment. He expressed that the University reorganized its academic wing in collages. Three collages are set up and institutes, schools, centers and departments are organized under them.
President of Puntland on his part said our relations with you matters a lot in our effort to build human capital in our country. We want to continue our relations and are grateful for the support you provided so far. Service delivery is bottleneck in our country, because there is no quality civil service, said the president.
