CPFMTC Organizes Training
Center for Public Financial Management Training and Consultancy in coordination with Federal Public Procurement and Property Administration Agency organized training for 210 employees recruited from different Federal and Regional organizations on October 22, 2018 at ECSU. The training is given from basic to advanced levels for 21 days.
W/ro Mahtem Mebratu, Director of Center for Public Financial Management Training and Consultancy, briefed the overall objective of the training and what expected from the trainees and the trainers. She said that the Center gives training in different strategic focused area to promote the proper implementation of the Public Procurement and Property administration for different experts and build their capacity. It also provide participants with the best practices, methods, concepts, tools and strategies of managing procurement and property in order to save large amount of money that can be wasted to mismanagement and lack of proper management of resources.
Ato Tsegaye Abebe, coordinator from World Bank, said the training is prepared to build continuously the capacity of procurement and asset management officers and experts at the federal and regional levels and we work in coordination with ECSU. Furthermore, the Agency and ECSU signed MoU to give additional training for different experts from 2018-2022 G.C to build their skills at federal and Regional levels he added.
