ECSU and EMI sign MoU
Ethiopian Civil Service University (ECSU) and Ethiopian Management Institute (EMI) signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).The agreement is focused on exchanging professionals and sharing resources.
The bilateral agreement was signed on 25th November, 2020 at ECSU Senate Hall between Professor Fikre Dessalegne, President of ECSU and Wubamlak Eshetu, EMI Director-General. Delegated members from both parties were presented during the MoU signing ceremony.
ECSU president, Professor Fikre Dessalegne, said this agreement enhance the two institutions to share their experts and resources in order to meet their goal effectively.We will have to change the MoU in to action by delegating focal person from the two institutions he underlined.
W/ro Wubamlak Eshetu, EMI Director-General, said we are neighboring institutions and we exchange man power for the last years and now we can make it more formal by signing this MoU. This MoU will help both parties to share resources and facilities. The two institutions are working effectively on training and consultancy services, so we can bring our effort together and make join consultancies and training to address challenges and gaps in different areas. In addition, we can identify and propose further area of cooperation she underscored.
According to the MoU, ECSU and EMI have the desire to:-
• Avail staff to work together on competency-based training, consultancy and research to the public sectors as appropriate
• Share training facilities and accommodations when needs arise and as appropriate
• Share experiences each other for the common good of the public sectors
• Identify and proposes further areas of cooperation
Ethiopian Management Institute (EMI) is a public enterprise that has been operating in Ethiopia as a service provider since 1958.
