The Second Round Senior Leadership Development Program Training Given
The second round senior Leadership Development Program training was given to 10 Ethiopian Civil Service University and 12 Ethiopian Management Institute Senior Leaders by United Kingdom National School of Government Consultants. The training was held at ECSU Lecture hall from 6-10 December, 2010.
The training aimed at building internal leadership and management capacity of senior managers at EMI and ECSU so that they lead strategically, plan and implement change, and lead development of effective leadership and management training.
The objectives of Leadership Development Program was fully aligned with the core skills framework which sets out what is expected of leaders both individually and collectively. Therefore this program focuses on the three roles that leaders are expected to play. These are: providing direction for the organization, delivering results and building capacity of the organization to address current and future challenges.
Leading for Results, Strategic Leadership and Motivating People, and Managing Personal Performance are some of the training components.
