Ethiopian Civil Service University Gender and HIV/AIDS Issues Directorate organized one day workshop on mainstreaming cross cutting issues in BSC plan for middle level managers of the University. In the workshop the concept and essence of mainstreaming and affirmative action, policy and legal frameworks in mainstreaming and applying affirmative action were discussed. The aggregated data of staff of the university and students presented to the participants to show gender gap in both the academic and administrative higher positions.

Ethiopian Kaizen Institutes hailed Ethiopian Civil Service University two teams and three best performing individuals for their excelled performance in implementation of kaizen philosophy in their respective directorate onOctober7, 2017 at Ghion Hotel. On the occasion certificate of recognition and cup were awarded to Enat kaizen Practice Team  and Simimtu Kulifoch kaizen Practice Team   and the winners of the KPT contest individuals; Ato Abel Taddese and Ato Abdurhaman Shemsedinina capacity building wing and W/ro.
