Ethiopia Civil Service University and Ethiopian Standards Agency signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on May 24, 2021 at the New Building of the Agency. The agreement is focused on standardizing the university’s overall core business and awarded ISO 9001:2015 (quality Management System).
Ethiopian Civil Service University plans to launch Summer Youth Training Project in the upcoming summer. As indicated on the project kick-off meeting held on May 20, 2021 at Abay Hall, the main purpose of this summer youth training project is to generate young civil servants and enable them to have both personal and national vision and commitment to discharge their social roles and responsibilities.
Ethiopian Civil Service University Celebrated the 5th Community Service Day from May 18-20, 2021 at the main campus of the university in different programs. On the three days program, a panel discussion with the renowned Ethiopian authors Haile Melekot Mewael and author Zenebe Wolla, exhibition, blood donation and different charity activities were held.
Ethiopian Civil Service University Research and Publication Coordination Office organized the 6th National Conference with a theme “Public Sector Transformation and Development” from May 11 to 12, 2021 at Abay Hall. At the conference ESCU scholars, Researchers and invited guests from Federal Ministries, Regional States and City Administrations participated.
Ethiopian Civil Service University launches a journal management platform. The journal management platform is developed by Information Technology Directorate in collaboration with the Research and Community Service Office.The journal management platform will have the following features which can help to facilitate the research publication process.
Ethiopian Civil Service University and the Federal Justice and Legal Research and Training Institute signed MoU to develop and further strengthen the existing cooperation between the two institutions on April 28, 2021 at Nexus Hotel.
Ethiopian Civil Service University Council held nine-month work plan performance evaluation from April 26-27, 2021 at Abay Hall. All ECSU council members have participated in the evaluation program organized by Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Directorate.
Ethiopian Civil Service University Human Resource Management gave half-day training on Integrated Civil Service Management Information System (ICSMIS) on April 22, 2021 at SGS lab.
The training was attended by more than forty staff members from different directorates and they practiced practically how they can request annual leave permission using the newly introduced CSMIS application system.
